You bring to the table a combination of technical expertise, and exceptional coding and testing practices for online applications.

Requirements:

• Solid foundation of C#, application architecture and object-oriented design
• Solid foundation of .NET 4.5 and the Microsoft technology platform
• Good understanding of ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web Forms development
• Good understanding of SQL Server and the Entity Framework
• Good Understanding of Oracle SQL Server
• Solid foundation of Javascript and jQuery, including jQuery Mobile
• Solid foundation of semantic HTML and CSS
• Solid foundation of .NET Web services (ASP.NET Web Services, WCF)

What you bring:

• Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, and/or a minimum of 5 years programming experience in a directly related field.

• Bonus:
  • Experience with client communication, such as requirements gathering, and technical consulting
  • Experience with identifying and solving performance problems in web applications
  • Knowledge and advocate of best practices (standard naming conventions, architecture)
  • Experience with the best practices/standards of the Canadian Government
  • Experience with other programming languages (PHP, Obj-C, etc)
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Rackspace Cloud
